Tullamore joined Boston Scientific Corporation in 1998 as part of an acquisition.

The facility has steadily grown since and currently employs a total of 175 employees. Its main business is the manufacture of fluid administration products for angiography and angioplasty procedures. In addition the plant has a core competency in customising product to suit specific customer needs.

Products include: Contrast Management Systems, Angiographic Manifolds, Syringes, Stopcocks, Fluid Delivery Systems and Inflation Devices.

Boston Scientific Tullamore was ranked in the Top 10 and got a special award for credibility in 'The 50 Best Companies to Work For in Ireland 2004'.

Boston Scientific Tullamore is a strong contributor to the local Community, particularly in health related area's.
