James McMahon Ltd. was established in Limerick in 1832 and has grown to become one of Ireland's leading and timber importers and builder provider's. Since its establishment, it has expanded throughout Ireland with 17 facilities through out the country.

The James McMahon group is divided into three divisions.

The Builder Providers division comprises of builder's providers stores and shops, and other service industries. Sales are to the trade, building contractors and private customers. Timber is sold to the trade from the retail outlets and is sawn and treated to customer specifications which takes place in sawmills and wood treatment areas. The Company imports timber, treats and processes it into wood products for the building industry. Only a small percentage of the wood is treated with preservative.

The timber engineering division, Integrated Timber Engineering Division) (ITEC), comprises of three manufacturing facilities in Drogheda, Co. Cork, and Foynes. Roof designs, timber frame homes, are drafted and tailored to customer specifications, which are manufactured throughout the ITEC branches. Within these branches our timber-engineering designers work closely with its customers to ensure that the final product is professionally completed to the customers specifications and satisfaction.

BRC McMahon Group

BRC McMahon Group comprise of two manufacturing facilities in Tipperary and Co Limerick. In these facilities mesh reinforced steel and aluminium fixtures are manufactured to quality standards for the building industry.
